Tommy Harrison is a vivid painter, investigating the tensions beween subject and paint, found and composed imagery.
Tommy Harrison (b. 1996) was born in Stockport, United Kingdom. He is currently studying for an MFA in painting at the Manchester School of Art, for which he received the Howarth Trust Painting Scholarship. Harrison’s has had a solo exhibition at Grimm Gallery, New York (2023) and has been included in a number of group exhibitions at Chapelle de l'Humanité, Paris (2022); the Holden Gallery, Manchester (2021); Islington Mill, Salford (2022); Elysium Gallery, Swansea (2022), where he was shortlisted for the Beep International Painting Prize; and Bankley Gallery, Manchester (2022).
